Restaurant Policies

Dietary Requirements & Allergies

We take food allergies seriously. Please inform your server of any allergies or dietary requirements before ordering. While we take every precaution to prevent cross-contamination, our kitchen handles all main allergens so we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment.

For more information, please see ‘Allergens’ section of our website.

Reservations

Due to our intimate size and limited capacity, we do not take table bookings or reservations. All dining is operated on a first-come, first-served basis.

During peak hours, if a table is not immediately available, our team will be delighted to add your name to our walk-in waitlist and give you an estimated wait time. To keep table turnover smooth for all guests, we kindly request that parties are complete before being seated.

Customer Code of Conduct

  • We are committed to providing a welcoming environment for all. Management reserves the right to refuse service or ask guests to leave if they display disruptive, disrespectful, or abusive behavior toward staff or other customers.

  • We will not serve alcohol to anyone under 18 or to anyone who appears visibly intoxicated. We operate Challenge 25 and a valid government-issued photo ID may be requested. Any photos or print outs of the IDs will not be accepted.

  • Food and drink not purchased at the restaurant are strictly prohibited in all areas, with the exception of baby food, formula, and snacks for toddlers and infants.

  • While we don’t have a formal dress code, we kindly ask that all guests wear appropriate attire, including tops and footwear, at all times.

Children

  • We offer a dedicated Lunch Kid’s Menu designed for guests aged 12 and under, it is available upon request.

  • Highchairs are available upon request.

  • We welcome families with infants. While we are happy to provide hot water to warm baby bottles or infant food at your table, our kitchen staff cannot heat baby food or bottles in microwave ovens or commercial kitchen equipment due to food safety and health regulations.

  • Children must be supervised by an adult at all times while in the restaurant. For safety reasons—including hot dishes, heavy trays, and hot drinks—children are not permitted to run, play, or wander unattended through all the areas.

  • For the safety of our youngest guests, infants and children are not permitted to crawl or play on the floor, and shoes must be worn at all times. While we maintain high standards, restaurant floors can carry hidden safety risks, like broken glass or crockery.

Are we dog-friendly?

  • Yes! Well-behaved dogs on leads are warmly welcomed throughout our entire restaurant. Fresh water bowls are available—just let our team know if your four-legged friend needs a drink.

  • We care deeply about every guest’s experience. While we love welcoming four-legged friends, dogs must be kept under control and on a lead at all times. If the dog becomes disruptive to others, management reserves the right to ask owners to leave or make an alternative arrangement for the dog outside of the restaurant area.

Service Charge

  • An optional 10% service charge is automatically added to all the bills. All gratuities go directly to our front-of-house and kitchen teams.
Please speak to one of the staff members if you wish to opt out when paying.

Lost & Found

  • The restaurant is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items. Items left behind will be kept in Lost & Found for 30 days.
If you think you left a personal belonging behind, please contact us on +44 (0) 1471 822 646 or info@deligasta.co.uk and we will assist you as best as we can.
